Meet the Team

Dr Jasmine May Murray - 
DEdPsy, MSc. Ed Psych, MSc. Occ. Psych, MA. Ed., B. Ed. (Hons), Dip. Psy, Dip. Ed., Dip. English Law, C. Psychol, C. Sci., AFBPsS, HCPC Registered Psychologist.

Jasmine's working life began as a teacher of children with hearing impairments. She then trained as a mainstream primary school teacher and worked in special schools, primary schools, and secondary schools across London for several years. She studied for an MA in Adult Education and Lifelong Learning (Goldsmiths College), Psychology and Law (Open University) and then trained as an Educational Psychologist at University College London (UCL). Jasmine then worked for Reading Borough Council for two years and became a Chartered Psychologist. She later completed the Professional Doctorate in Educational Psychology at UCL and worked independently, setting up her own company, JMA Psychology Limited. Later, she studied for an MSc in Occupational Psychology at Goldsmiths College to be able to extend her services to the corporate world. In addition, Jasmine has worked for the Family Courts and for medico-legal purposes. Her background and wide and varied experiences and knowledge base places her in a unique position to work with a wide ranging client group including children and families, schools, further and higher education, and also organisations and their employees. Jasmine is an Associate Member of the British Psychological Society, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Jasmine holds a Certificate of Competence in Educational Testing and Certificates in Occupational Testing for both Ability and Personality. Jasmine also holds Hogan Certificate of Professional Development for interpreting and providing professional development feedback, using the Hogan Suite of Assessments.

Dr Jenny Murray -
Clinical Psychologist, B. Sc., D. Clin. Psych, C Psychol, HCPC Registered Psychologist.

Jenny has worked for 15 years in health and social services, gaining experience with children and adults with a range of social, emotional, behavioural, mental health and learning difficulties within community and inpatient settings. Since qualifying as a clinical psychologist in 2009 she has been involved in assessing and providing interventions for children and adolescents with a wide range of needs including emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties, autism and learning disabilities. She has also facilitated parenting workshops for parents of children with behavioural difficulties and autism. Since April 2011 she has been working in a Tier 4 specialist service in which she undertakes consultations and training to other professionals as well as providing specialist assessments and intervention to young people with a range of needs who present with risky behaviour. She has completed additional training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which is a recommended treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and is widely used with anxiety disorders. As an independent practitioner, Jenny undertakes assessments of children and families, contributing expert witness reports for family proceedings. She is a guest tutor at Reading University (Improving Access to Personal Therapy Parenting Course) and Oxford University (Doctoral Programme in Clinical Psychology). Jenny has a special interest in learning disabilities and developmental disorders including Autistic Spectrum disorders. She is also interested in working with young people who present with anxiety disorders including phobias, panic disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).
